Sunga is an accomplished professional in program design and development. With expertise in Human and community-centered designs, Sunga has co-created programs with grassroots and international organizations, engaged in Student Affairs work within higher and secondary Education, and supported last-mile communities while advocating for historically marginalized student groups. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Comparative International Development Education, Sunga is a Scholar-Activist/Practitioner with research interests in radical participatory designs, social movements in last-mile communities experiencing poverty, and the intersections of Education, Health, Environment, and International Development in rural Sub-Saharan African communities. Sunga is deeply committed to Human Rights, Community-Centered Design, and Engagement in Education and Climate Justice, particularly in marginalized communities experiencing poverty.
