Dr Cellina  Mlusu-Torimiro, Was born, raised in Blantyre Malawi and at the age of 19, she moved to Washington DC to pursue a degree in Pharmacy.  She is a Doctor of Pharmacy by profession but enjoys doing philanthropy work especially in her native country of Malawi. In the course of her life  she has volunteered with several organizations in Malawi and raised funds for flood victims in Malawi during the rainy seasons.  Even though she lives in the United States, She makes regular visits to Malawi. With every visit to Malawi she realised the  socio-economic gap between the wealthy and low income population is very large therefore something needs to be done. Because inequalities are more prevalent in girls, She has taken a keen interest in the education and empowerment of girls and women, so this foundation is dear to my heart.
